Instrument Locker Rentals

All undergraduate and graduate students from any major can purchase access to the School of Music instrument locker storage rooms.

General Information

There are two different instrument storage rooms located with the School of Music: Couch 103 (Outer Props) and Couch 104). Couch 103 includes lockers 101 – 189 and Outer Props access. Couch 104 includes lockers 190 – 204.

Purchasing & Pricing

  • We charge a $15.00 fee per semester per locker.
  • Before purchasing a locker, measure the dimensions of your instrument in its case. Locker dimensions include:
    • Small: 15” H x 8” W x 27” D
    • Medium: 15” H x 12” W x 37” D
    • Large: 26” H x 25” W x 27” D
    • Extra-Large: 26” H x 46” W x 27” D
  • Students with instruments that cannot fit inside a conventional locker will need to purchase Outer Props access. Please be aware you may need to share outer props due to high demand.
  • Following payment, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the locker combination for your selected locker.
  • Please note, it may take 2-3 business days to receive Buzzcard access after your purchase.

Rules

  • Always keep your locker secured, even if it is empty.
  • DO NOT store food or drinks in your locker under any circumstance.
  • Personal locks are not allowed on our lockers at any time. You will be issued the combination to the existing lock on your locker after purchase. If the assigned lock is lost for any reason, you will be charged a replacement fee of $15.00
  • You should have your locker clear of all personal belongings by the last day of final exams each semester. Locker access must be re-purchased every semester.
  • The School of Music is not responsible for anything left in your locker.
  • Sharing your locker with any student who has not purchased access is strictly prohibited. Every student using the locker room and/or a locker must pay for access.
