Kelsey Brunson
Admin Operations Coordinator & Graduate Coordinator
Kelsey Brunson is the Administrative Operations Coordinator and Graduate Coordinator for the School of Music. She provides administrative support to faculty and staff, oversees scheduling and room reservations, and coordinates the Graduate admissions program for incoming Master and Doctoral students.
Kelsey comes to Georgia Tech with almost a decade of experience in K-12 public education, both at the district level and in the classroom. Coming from a long line of music educators, she taught middle school and high school band programs in Gainesville, Georgia for several years and has a passion for serving Title I schools and communities. She has most recently worked as an Executive Assistant for Mapleton Public Schools in Denver, Colorado.
As a percussionist, she has performed with the Colorado Wind Ensemble, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, the Ludwig Symphony Orchestra, and The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. She has been a featured performer at the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) In-Service Conference and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance and Music Education from Columbus State University and a Master of Music Education from Reinhardt University.
